World Book Day in Bunscoil Bhríde

On Friday, we had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day in Bunscoil Bhríde. The school was alive with excitement as characters from all kinds of books filled the halls, bringing stories to life. From classic fairy tale heroes to modern-day favorites, there was an incredible variety of costumes on display.

Throughout the day, the senior classes paired up with the infant classes for storytelling sessions, creating a lovely atmosphere of shared reading. We also played ‘Guess the Teacher,’ where we had to identify teachers reading their favourite books. Classes took part in book tastings, exploring different genres and discovering new favorite reads.

It was a magical day full of creativity, imagination, and, most importantly, a love of reading!
