Planting with Paddy

Second Class enjoyed a fantastic planting workshop with Paddy Madden, who shared his incredible knowledge with the class. He taught the girls how to carefully thin their beetroot seedlings without harming the plants, and demonstrated how to measure spacing between plants using a dibber tool and string. The class is buzzing with excitement for harvest season and can’t wait to watch their garden grow over the coming months. They planted beetroot, spring onions, potatoes, and strawberries in their class bed.
