Mobile Farm Visit!

This week, the students of Bunscoil Bhríde had some very special visitors as the wonderful Agri Aware Mobile Farm rolled into our school. Our yard was transformed into a mini farmyard, welcoming a variety of animals, including pigs, geese, hens, chickens, a sheep and her lamb, a calf, and even a beautiful goat named Popcorn.

Farmer Tom captivated the students with fascinating facts about each animal and their important roles on the farm. The girls had the opportunity to get up close to the animals, making it a truly hands-on and unforgettable experience. One of the most exciting moments of the day came when a hen laid an egg right in front of First Class—a thrilling surprise for everyone! A huge thank you to Agri Aware for bringing the farm to us!
