We celebrated Friendship Week from, Monday 7th to Friday 11th October 2019. The emphasis for the week was on creating and extending friendship, with the motto ‘to have a friend, you have to be a friend’. Children in all classes were encouraged to make new friends within their classes, with lots of fun activities taking place. On Friday we held a whole school assembly and a ‘Coffee Morning’ (with no coffee involved!) for each class. The purpose of the ‘coffee morning’ was to give the children the opportunity to chat in their new groups of friends and to celebrate the end of Friendship Week. The girls and their families were very busy baking delicious treats for their coffee morning.
